For the training to qualify as a Qualified Training Event (QTE), you must show experience teaching scrum in a co-training partnership with a current Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®) or independently in a non-certified context, meeting the following minimum requirements:
8 qualifying training events* (QTEs) that meet the requirements below:
- At least 4 of the qualifying training events must be delivered with the most recent version (including no substantial changes) of the candidate’s foundational SAI scrum course materials (CSM, CSPO, CSD). For example, substantial updates may be structural changes to course materials, whereas non-substantial updates may be tweaking wording or an activity
- All of the qualifying training events must have occurred within the last 60 months.
- For co-training to count as a qualifying training event, the candidate must have delivered at least four (4) hours during one QTE.
- While you are welcome to co-train other courses (such as SAI courses (CAL, CAF, etc.), for co-training to count as a QTE, it must be a foundational scrum course.
- For each qualifying training event, the candidate must be able to describe how they are inspecting and adapting based on student and/or co-trainer feedback.
