While we certainly respect one's knowledge and past experience with scrum, individuals must attend the require course and fulfill its requirements in order to earn a certification. This includes all certification programs, including the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) and Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®). At this time, Scrum Alliance® doesn't accept credentials from other certifying bodies or past work experience to directly qualify for the certification without attending the course.
