To earn the CSP-D certification, you must take a 14-16-hour in-person or live online course with one of our approved trainers. You can find a CSP-D course by visiting our Course Search page.
During your CSP-D course, you must demonstrate a mastery of scrum and agile development practices by passing a CSP-D assessment provided by your educator. The assessment may be an exam administered by the educator to test your knowledge, or it may be an active, classroom-based assessment. For more information about this assessment, please review the course description for the CSP-D class you’re interested in taking.
To earn a CSP-D, we require that you:
- Hold an Advanced Certified Scrum Developer® (A-CSD®) certification with Scrum Alliance®.
- Attend a CSP-D educational offering to gain techniques that expand into enabling a culture of technical excellence, catalyzing high-performance technology organizations, facilitating environments for a shared understanding, guiding scrum teams to learn and grow, and developing the self as an agile leader.
- Successfully complete all educator-designed components of an approved educational offering. This may include pre- or post-course work as deemed necessary by your approved educator to complete the learning objectives.
- Validate at least 24 months of work experience specific to the role of Scrum developer/team member (within the past five years).
