Scrum Alliance® Registered Education Allies (REAs) are third-party organizations who provide marketing and logistical support for Scrum Alliance-approved education providers, including Certified Scrum Trainers® (CSTs®).
REAs are authorized to market and support only those courses taught by the Scrum Alliance-certified education providers who are associated with that particular training provider. These courses might include certification courses (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster® or Certified Scrum Developer®) or continuing education offerings.
Scrum Alliance evaluates and approves REA candidates based on the following to ensure an excellent student experience:
- Endorsements from at least two of our Certified Scrum Trainers (CSTs)
- Customer service and support practices
- Quality marketing practices
- Ethics and issue resolution practices
Training providers or organizations that wish to sell and/or promote certification courses taught by our CSTs must first be approved as an REA. For more information about the program and application process, please visit our REA information page.
