Product owners have a unique and demanding accountability on agile teams. A product owner decides what the team will create next to deliver more value to the customer. In a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) course, you'll learn the framework, principles, and values that make scrum work, plus key skills and tools you need to be effective. You'll discover how to juggle multiple stakeholders’ needs, get hands-on practice creating a product vision, and learn new ways to get to know your customers so that you can choose the right next piece of value to bring to market for them.
The first step toward earning a CSPO certification is to take a Certified Scrum Product Owner course with one of our certified trainers. It's a 16-hour class (live online or in-person) that will teach you about the scrum framework and how to become a successful product owner. After completing the course, you'll have an account created for you on the Scrum Alliance® website where you'll be able to download your certification and access member benefits. At this time, there is no test requirement to earn the CSPO certification.
