CSTs and CSATs wishing to deliver an ILT microcredential course must complete an application.
To get started:
- Go to the ILT microcredential application, and select Apply
- Complete the Candidate Information section
- Select Mark as Complete when done
- Select Scrum Alliance-created Microcredential Summaries and Selection and/or Community Badge Microcredentials Summaries and Selection from the left side menu
- Locate the course on the right that you wish to deliver and complete the corresponding fields
- If you have already been approved to deliver other microcredentials, please select “Yes” to the “Have you been previously approved?” question for each relevant selection.
- The application review will ensure you have the requisite trainer approvals to offer the course
- Complete as many of the microcredential courses that you wish to deliver and that are available in the application
- Mark As Complete when done
- Then Sign and Submit when you have completed the application
When a new microcredential course is available to deliver, it will be added to the application. Please note that you will need to create a new application to apply to teach these new microcredential courses when introduced.
Here is an overview of the approval process to teach microcredentials and how you receive the materials:
- Submit an Application: Complete a course application via the Apply portal. The Apply portal will be used to apply for ALL microcredentials, so please review the executive summaries for each course and select the course(s) you would like to deliver.
- Approval Timeline: You can expect your application to be approved after one business week.
- Course Materials Access: If approved, you will receive access to the course materials via email upon approval.
- Flexible Training: You can customize the materials by adding your logos and graphics or changing the flow or order, but you cannot distribute them to other trainers or access materials before submitting the Community Badge course application.
- No Additional License Fees: There will be no additional license fee to train in Microcredential courses at this time. Waived trainer application fees are subject to change in the future.
- Standard Training Process: Schedule the course, post it on Course Search, find students, and charge what you determine is appropriate.
- Student Credentialing: After you train a course, you will upload the student list to Scrum Alliance so students can receive a microcredential.
