Getting Started
- Log into your Scrum Alliance dashboard.
- Navigate to the Courses tab on the left-hand side of your dashboard home screen.
- Under My courses, see the white box indicating how many courses are waiting on payment with students loaded
- Select Make payment for the course you would like to pay and activate students for
Payment process
- You will be taken to a screen to select the students to activate for certification with the "award" or "medal" icon. Please verify that the students are ready to be certified and their information is entered correctly.
- You will then be taken to the payment screen with the total due
- Fill in the other fields in the form and follow the payment instructions.
- You can either pay via a credit/debit card or PayPal account. If you would like to change your payment method, select Edit
- Complete the fields under Billing Address. This will also appear in your receipt and automatically generated invoice
- Note: You may use the Memo field to enter something like a VAT number or personal note that you would like shown on the automatically created invoice
- Note: If you would like the receipt to be emailed to an additional person, please enter their email in the Additional Receipt Email field
- Once you're ready, select Submit Payment at the bottom.
If you have trouble making a payment, there may be a couple of reasons:
- Some credit card companies will flag trainer payments and reject the payments due to various reasons, such as a change in location of payment, large-dollar transactions, and so forth. Typically, if you call your credit card issuer and confirm the transaction, the payment will be processed.
- If you are not sure of the reason for the decline, please contact support@scrumalliance.org. Reports can tell us whether it is a data mismatch or a bank issue.
Once payment is made, the student activation process will begin. Once completed, students will receive their welcome emails to access their Scrum Alliance account and access their certification. This could take several minutes to process, based on the size of our membership database and the checks that must occur. If it takes more than an hour, please contact support@scrumalliance.org so we can check for any processing issues.
