Scrum Alliance offers courses that lead to two different types of credentials: certifications and microcredentials.
Taking a Scrum Alliance certification course will not result in any Scrum Education Units® (SEUs®) as they’re intended to be submitted as continuing education activities you've completed after earning the certification. Instead, earning a new Scrum Alliance certification will automatically renew and extend all your membership and previously earned certifications with no SEUs or renewal fee required.
Taking a Scrum Alliance microcredential course will result in SEUs that are automatically applied to your account once you've completed the course. However, please note that earning new microcredentials will not renew and extend your other earned certifications or membership.
